Arrrgh! (For the last time:))  Thanks to Michelle F for generating the excitement around dress like a pirate day today.  I'm sure the liver, pigs feet, barbecue worm larvae and smoked eel I eat at lunch today will taste delicious with a refreshing Coke!

Huge thank you to Keriann, who broke down the PARCC math data and then discussed with the other math teachers to look for trends and things to focus on.  Speaking of PARCC when your team is done with the student summaries please send them back to the office.  Also, I have been working with MARCC(he prefers this spelling now!) on a possible extended PARCC schedule.  The schedule would allow for fewer tests in a week over a longer period of time.  I will ask for team feedback when finished.

Thanks to everyone for scheduling your student growth and observation meetings.  I have started to make my way in the classes and have been excited by the teaching/learning that is taking place.
