It's finally here!  The Sound of Music will be performed by our students today during the assembly, tonight at 6:30pm, tomorrow at 2:00pm and 6:30pm.  Melissa and Danielle have worked non-stop on this play to make sure it is top notch.  I can't wait to see it.

A huge thank you to Michelle Fiorini for taking care of all of the make-up testing for PARCC.  It was not easy and I appreciate the hard work it took to get accomplished.

Thanks to all of the teachers that have been working with me to get their observations/evaluations/binders finished.  I appreciate the work you put into your lessons and assessments and am extremely happy to be working with a staff that is full of excellent teachers.

I received another grant yesterday afternoon and the deadline is today to get it turned in and signed.

Please remember to be ready for students as they return from lunch on a daily basis. Having students unsupervised in the hallway even for a minute can lead to trouble.

Do you want to develop speaking and listening skills or just listen to some of the most famous speeches of all time...the site is a little hard to maneuver, however there is text, audio, and video archives.  There is also a special section for movie speeches.

Jessica E had her newspaper club Skype with a newspaper club from England earlier this week.  It was neat getting to see the students interact with each other.  In the next Issue of the Tiger Times there will be an article on School Uniforms that both staff collaborated on(they wear uniforms at their school).
